Canada is a fluid mosaic. The old federal structure dating from 1867, no longer permits to assume the challenges of globalization, the aspirations of each province and the flexibility to cope with the new economy. Attempts were made to renew federalism several times and it did not work. I love Canada and I am not a federalist : in fact I do not consider the federal structure as the fuselage suitable for racing in Canada. In my view, the federation stifles the country. I see Canada as a common wealth of states associated and supervised by a union a little like the European Union in a more flexible way. This blog intends to put Canada on a design table with freshness and creativity.

Le Canada est une mosaïque fluide. La vieille structure fédérative datant de 1867, ne lui permet plus de prendre en charge les défis de la mondialisation, les aspirations de chaque province et la flexibilité requise pour faire face à la nouvelle économie. On a tenté de renouveler le fédéralisme à plusieurs reprises et cela n’a pas fonctionné. J’aime le Canada et je ne suis pas fédéraliste : c’est à dire que je ne considère pas la structure fédérative comme étant le fuselage adapté au bolide canadien. À mes yeux, la fédération étouffe le territoire Canadien. Je vois le Canada comme un common wealth fait d’états associés et chapeautés par une union un peu comme l’Union Européenne dans une forme plus flexible.

Ce blog se propose de mettre le Canada sur une table à dessin avec fraîcheur et créativité.
